Small by design

A different kind of horse boarding.

Hackseed Ranch is intentionally small. We keep only a few horses so that each one has room to graze, move and enjoy a quiet environment—and each owner knows the people sharing the property.

Large grassy paddocks

Each horse has a dedicated grassy paddock with room to move and graze.

Natural approach

Our horses are kept barefoot and spend substantial time outdoors. Many are retired and have become pets.

Quiet & private

A private property away from street traffic, with safe, spacious parking.

Plantation location

In the heart of Plantation Acres, less than a mile from I-595 and Hiatus Road.

Trail access nearby

The Hiatus Road Greenway is approximately 300 feet from the property.

A private place for your horse

Room to graze. Room to be a horse.

Hackseed Ranch occupies 2.3 acres in Plantation Acres and is intentionally maintained at a very low horse-to-acreage ratio.

Each paddock has water, shade and secure fencing. Owners have access to feed and tack storage and private on-site parking.

This isn't a busy commercial barn. It is a small place where owners come to care for their horses themselves.

Hackseed is self-care boarding.

You are responsible for your horse's daily feeding, watering, cleaning and general care. We provide the property, paddock, shelter, water, fencing and a private place for your horse to live.

Most of our horses are retired and have become pets. Hackseed is particularly suited to owners who enjoy spending time caring for their horse rather than looking for a training or riding facility.

  • Arena or round pen
  • Horse shows or competition facilities

The Hiatus Road Greenway is approximately 300 feet from Hackseed Ranch. Boarders can walk their horses off the property to reach the nearby greenway.
